CLEANING SCHEDULE DOWNLOAD

ABOUT THIS RESOURCE

Ever since I returned to work, our house has been a bit of a bomb. While I was on maternity leave I found a cleaning rhythm that worked for me, but as soon as Hello Murphy began to require more of my time – oops! Back to Clutter-Ville. My latest solution has been to print a copy of the cleaning schedule that was working before and post it on the fridge. When Levi comes home from work I update him on what I was able to get done and he tries to finish the res. Not a perfect solution, but it’s working! It’s been really nice to see the whole family on the same page and unable to use the excuse of “not knowing what needs to be done”.

*The download includes a schedule for people with kids or without kids.

THE BREAKDOWN
  • A daily breakdown of weekly chores to keep your household on track
  • This list is meant to keep things under 1 hour of cleaning per day
  • Checks // My alarm goes off at 6:45pm each evening and we tidy each room together as a family before bedtime. This has DRASTICALLY increased the generally tidiness of our house.
  • No Saturday Cleaning // You’ll notice there is no “Saturday” section on the schedule. We take this day off from cleaning and it has been a game changer for our energy levels each week. It takes a bit of planning, but it’s worth it.
